Protagonist who gets stranded at a rest stop after her boyfriend Jess disappears. She survives encounters with a deranged truck driver, a cannibalistic RV family, and a mutilated girl named Tracy. After a motorcycle officer is injured and killed by her to save them both from fire, she discovers Jess is the killer. She escapes, destroys his truck with a Molotov cocktail, but ultimately meets a grim fate in the renovated rest stop's maintenance room years later.
