Highly corrupt police official who manipulates Shanmugham into committing violent encounters to boost his own career, eventually becoming commissioner. He orders an acid attack on Nalina, later sexually harasses her for a police job, and orders Shanmugham's death to cover his own crimes, directly opposing CBI officer Prabhakar's orders to capture him alive.
