Amiable and bumbling mailman in Sainte-Sévère-sur-Indre. Inspired by a documentary about US postal efficiency, he attempts to deliver letters at high speed using only a bicycle. After exhausting himself, he stops to help a local family with hay, allowing a young boy to complete his remaining deliveries.
