A fundamentalist Christian man married to Shana who becomes obsessed with punishing Gavin for his affair with her. After discovering the relationship, he confronts Gavin with biblical threats and ultimately takes Shana hostage on a high-rise rooftop. He issues an ultimatum for Gavin to jump to his death at noon, leading to his eventual arrest by police.
