Son of the murdered king of Tokot. Initially befriends Capt. Carruthers and drummer Bill Holder. After his uncle usurps the throne, he hides in Peshawar and is rescued by Mrs. Carruthers but chooses to stay hidden. Upon learning of an assassin's plot against Carruthers, he risks his life to warn him, playing a signal on the Sacred Drum of Tokot to save the British detachment. Later installed as the new ruler.
