A fellow teacher at the college who becomes Julie Parker's romantic partner. He becomes the prime suspect after Julie finds a knife and newspaper articles about local killings in his apartment. He trails Julie to the campus, discovers her body, and ultimately exposes Janson's crime by spotting the disguised knife sheath.
