A wounded escaped convict who hides at Lacey's apartment after the gas station robbery. He murders Dr. Hessler to cover his tracks and forces Lacey's cooperation by ensuring the getaway car is found near the crime scene. He participates in the bank robbery and is ultimately killed or captured.
