A former thug released after a seven-year sentence for manslaughter. Raised by a Christian priest, he relocates to Odaangara to run a technical institute. He becomes entangled in the local land dispute, falls in love with Mollykutty, is falsely accused of murder, goes into hiding, and ultimately rescues the family from Jimmy's thugs, earning acceptance and a marriage proposal.
