Ruthless leader of an antisocial gang operating in Calcutta. He takes in the runaway Manik and, under orders from the corrupt nephew Bireshwar, attempts to corrupt him into a criminal. Ultimately, he and his associate are killed while escaping from the police raid orchestrated to rescue Manik.
