A thirteen-year-old Catholic girl and Inge's best friend. Her father becomes a high-ranking Nazi SA officer. She is indoctrinated into the Hitler Youth but secretly maintains her friendship with Inge, risking physical punishment from her father to sit beside her. Later persuades a priest to baptize Inge's family and is implied to have been cut off from contact afterward.
