Giancarlo's childhood friend and neighbor in Rome. He maintains a close, supportive relationship with Agata, to whom she confesses her desire to leave her marriage. Giancarlo becomes convinced Agata is having an affair with Fabietto (despite previously assuming Fabietto was gay). This suspicion directly triggers Giancarlo's emotional collapse and his eventual disappearance on his motorcycle.
