A close friend of Sreehari and Indulekha who betrays them. He marries Indulekha through an arrangement by her mother and later attempts to kill him to win Indulekha, framing Sreehari for the crime. After Sreehari proves his innocence, Ramanunni kills Indulekha's husband, kidnaps her, and is eventually stopped by Sreehari.
