Arthur's best knight and primary rival. Initially in love with Guenièvre, he grows disillusioned with Arthur's ineffective rule in Season 2. He becomes a wandering knight, later builds a fortress to recruit followers, and competes with Arthur for Britain's throne. Granted temporary power by Arthur, he ultimately ravages the island and destroys the Round Table before the series finale.
