The much younger wife of prominent attorney John Marshall Wharton. She develops a romantic attraction to Tony while he works as his secretary. When she visits Tony's bedroom, he cleverly deflects her advances by suggesting she divorce him and marry Tony, a proposal she refuses due to social constraints.
