An 18-year-old burger boy who joins the mob after a violent outburst. He develops a dissociative alter-ego named Madden, falls in love with Iris, and struggles against his controlling mother Kate. He follows mob orders to kill Arnie and Abie. Madden is later revealed to be his true personality. He murders Kate, stages her hanging, and escapes on a bus with Iris while carrying her corpse.
