The mentally disabled younger brother of Mary Malden. He is revealed to be the murderer of the young girl. Hiding in a storm cellar, he is convinced by Wilson to surrender peacefully but flees when confronted. He brandishes a knife in a shack, claiming he only wanted to make the victim smile, before ultimately falling to his death during a chase.
