A housewife who enlists in the WAC after her husband is deployed overseas. She acts as a peacemaker between Val and Leigh but struggles with self-confidence. After receiving news of her husband's death in combat, she finds solace in her newfound friendships, helps reconcile the group, and graduates from Officer Candidate School.
