A ruthless mob boss whose mistress is Sheila Farr. He plans a million-dollar mail truck robbery and uses Johnny North as the getaway driver. After Johnny betrays him by taking the money, Browning shoots him and hires hitmen to finish him off. He is ultimately ambushed and killed by Charlie at his home.
