The twin brother of Lava, also a son of Rama and Sita. Raised by Sage Valmiki, he travels to Ayodhya, participates in stopping the Ashwamedha horse, learns of his divine lineage, and is later crowned king alongside his brother.
Sita is the biological mother of Kusha, separated from him during his childhood.
Lava and Kusha are identical twins raised together in the forest.
Valmiki serves as the primary educator and warrior coach for Kusha.
