A woman who travels to her father's decaying mansion to discover her mother's decomposing corpse. Plagued by a terminal illness, she is ultimately murdered by the vengeful spirit of her mother, Morella. Her body is temporarily possessed by the resurrected Morella before returning to its original form as the house burns.
