A teenage Chinese student studying in Omaha who travels to San Francisco while four months pregnant. She seeks an abortion and attempts to locate Boshen, Yang's former partner. Sasha befriends karaoke hostess X, creates a video diary, and constantly texts her absent partner Yang. After an ultrasound, she decides to continue the pregnancy, embraces moving on, and ends the film watching a parade and lip-syncing alone.
