NASA astronaut who crash-lands on Planet 51 and seeks help from Lem to return to his orbiting spacecraft before it departs. He is hunted by the paranoid army, captured by Kipple, rescued by his new friends, and ultimately manually pilots his ship to safety while saving General Grawl.
