Aila's father who served time in prison after taking the blame for his wife Anna's suicide. Released in 1976, he returns to the reserve and struggles with Aila's involvement in drug trafficking. He is arrested on false charges by Popper but is rescued during Aila's break-in at the school. After reconciling with his daughter and taking responsibility for Popper's death to protect them, he steps back from the drug trade.
