The elder son of Chandra Pratap and cousin to Samar and Veerendra. He clashes with Veerendra for succession, is falsely arrested on rape charges after his father's assassination, and forms the Jana Shakti party. He kills the corrupt police officer Sharma, survives an assassination attempt, but ultimately dies in a car bomb alongside his wife Sarah. He leaves a posthumous child with Indu.
