Bud's California-bred wife, initially devoted and hopeful about the hometown visit. She grows disillusioned with small-town life and Bud's infidelity, eventually leaving with their daughter Terri Jo. After Bud's accident and change of heart, she returns and agrees to reconcile if he promises honesty.
