Younger son of General Foster who joins the Army after flunking out of college. Utilizing his fluent French, he leads a commando mission behind enemy lines in France to destroy a massive cannon, surviving as the sole casualty. Later deployed to Tunisia, he befriends Captain Scott, learns of his brother Ted's death, and is ultimately promoted to serve as an aide to General Patton.
