A con artist stamp trader who tricks Ralph out of a valuable Bluenose stamp to support his impoverished family. He attempts to steal a magical shrinking riddle and mails Ralph to China. Later disguises as Charles Merriweather in Sydney to steal a collection but is captured. Eventually overcomes his dishonest habits and helps return the stamp.
