A struggling actor and writer suffering from writer's block and past trauma. He rents a cabin and hires Bettina for transport. He meets Fanny, attempts to impress her with original horror stories, and collaborates on plot ideas. Jealous of her success and angered by her notebook, he confronts her with a fire poker, only to accidentally impale himself and bleed out.
