A corrupt Special Branch Inspector in Bangkok known as the Black Hand for his signature glove, who falsely claims credit for his subordinates' kills. As Sommai's former wartime lieutenant, his cowardice caused the sergeant's amputation. Haunted by guilt, Thanu initially suppresses the investigation but is eventually forced into a tense standoff where he secures Sommai's surrender but hesitates to pull the trigger.
