Leader of a band of outlaws who lives by theft and confiscation. Upon recognizing rancher Gilbert Jones as the man who saved his life years earlier, Lopez shifts his allegiance, robbing a corrupt bank to return stolen funds and cattle to Jones. He orchestrates the death of Morgan Pell to free Jones' wife, ultimately showing gratitude and bidding the couple farewell.
