An Indigenous man who recognizes an injured Kiche as his former sled dog and takes her in. He attempts to buy back his tribe's land by trading pelts and mittens. After his money is stolen, he is coerced into selling White Fang to Smith, later hearing the wolf-dog's howl in the wild.
