A beautiful milkmaid and artist's model who initially falls for the artist Billee. After being hypnotized by Svengali, she fakes her suicide and becomes a celebrated singer known as Madame Svengali. Her growing attachment to Billee gradually breaks his control, ultimately leading to her death shortly after his passing.
