Protagonist, a gentle West Berlin street performer released from prison. Harassed by pimps, he moves to rural Wisconsin with Eva and Scheitz. Works as a mechanic and buys a mobile home, but financial ruin and isolation drive him to despair. After a failed robbery and the arrest of his friend, he commits suicide by crashing his tow truck and riding a chairlift into the mountains with a frozen turkey.
