A road-traveler whose accidental encounter with Edna leads him to a Ministry of Agriculture facility. He discovers the experimental ultrasonic machine responsible for reanimating the dead, attempts to destroy and later reactivate it to understand the threat, and is fatally shot by the Inspector before returning as a zombie.
