A young gambler expelled from finishing school who travels to Palm Springs to find her father. She meets George Britell and Slim, initially plans to marry George to solve her family's financial troubles, but ultimately realizes she loves Slim. She temporarily uses the alias Lady Sylvia of Dustin.
