A disoriented and incoherent man wearing only sneakers whom Pam rescues from a life-threatening storm on Mount Washington. After being brought to safety, he abruptly departs without thanks. He later meets Pam at a coffee shop, revealing that a loved one previously froze to death on the same mountain.
They form a survival alliance during the dangerous descent.
