The protagonist, a young boy and son of Daedalus. He befriends the telepathic Asterion, becomes disillusioned with his father's complicity in the imprisonment, and helps navigate the Labyrinth with a thread. Arrested and later released, he reconciles with Daedalus, escapes via wings, and dies falling from the sky while embracing a vision of Asterion.
