The second wife of Simeon Krillet. Initially learns kindness from Robert Waring. To protect him from her husband's wrath, she falsely claims she is pregnant, which temporarily softens Simeon. When the lie is revealed, Simeon's cruelty returns, setting off the tragic conflict that leads to her husband's death.
