The protagonist, a naive and gluttonous pig born in 1933 who is initially unaware she is destined to be the Christmas dinner. After learning the truth about the holiday, she attempts to flee the farm but is ultimately thwarted by her appetite. She ends up sharing a magical out-of-body experience with the other farm animals.
