The female protagonist and narrator (Deepthi). Coming from a relatively privileged background, she secretly loves JayaKrishna and proposes to him. After framing him in a college room and surviving a suicide attempt, she lives with her husband Chandu and concludes her life by drawing his portrait as a tribute.
