A depressed alcoholic co-worker of Rita at a Volkseigener Betrieb clothing factory. She becomes Rita's closest confidante and lover, eventually breaking free from addiction through Rita's influence. Imprisoned by the Stasi for years due to her association with Rita, she is finally released and rushes to find her.
