Co-creator who drew the first humanoid turtle sketch with nunchucks in 1983 alongside Peter Laird. After initial success, he relocated to the West Coast, founded several businesses, and purchased Heavy Metal magazine. He gradually stepped back from creative work, co-sold the rights to Viacom in 2009, and reunited with Laird for the 30th anniversary.
