Played by Arnold Diamond. Appears in six episodes as a French counterpart to Inspector Teal. Depicted as less competent and more eager to find Templar guilty, though Templar repeatedly helps him solve cases. Unlike Teal, he is original to the series and absent from Charteris novels.
