Born deformed with a demonic mask, he is the son of a Noh troupe leader. He bonds with Tomoichi after revealing his deformity, as Tomoichi cannot see it. Together they form a hit performing troupe. Through their music and dance, Inu-Oh progressively loses his deformities, gaining normal limbs, skin, and a restored face. He faces pressure from the Shogun to perform official history, ultimately continuing his career in fame but being forgotten after his death.
