Holy man Yeshua retreats to the desert to pray and find his purpose. He is frequently taunted by a demon that takes his form. He assists a desert family in building a house, confronts demonic visions, and witnesses the son's destiny. Ultimately, he declines to heal the dying mother and departs for Jerusalem to face his own destiny.
