A religious yet homicidal staff sergeant who leads the squad in Vietnam. After the war, he becomes a minister in Mount Vernon but secretly funds his lavish lifestyle with robbery proceeds. Police discover his involvement, and he betrays the rest of the crew by turning state's evidence in exchange for a plea bargain.
