A powerful and cynical theatrical producer who half-owns the Club Grotto. He dates aspiring actresses Linda Shaw and Jean Maitland, using his position to manipulate their careers. He attempts to seduce Terry Randall to secure her role, but is rebuffed. Despite his callousness and attempt to cancel Terry's contract after a poor rehearsal, the play ultimately succeeds.
