A military general and son of Minister Yin Taichang. Initially reassigned to a border province, he is ordered by Empress Wan to rescue Crown Prince Wu Luan from an imperial ambush. Fueled by grief over his sister Qing Nu's death, he attempts to assassinate the Empress but is instantly killed by her.
They share a direct sibling bond that drives the plot.
