Protagonist and skilled martial artist trained by Master Sung Wu-yang and later Master Suen. Sent to defeat tyrant Meng Tung-shan to win Ying-ying's hand. After his hands are broken by enemies, he recovers, masters the Iron Fist technique, wins the tournament, avenges his masters by killing the chief Japanese thug, and survives to depart with Ying-ying and Ta Ming.
