A con man and accomplice who robs Avram early on. He ambushes Avram and Tommy on a beach, survives an encounter where Tommy shoots his partner, and later travels to San Francisco to challenge Avram to a duel. He is disarmed and exiled by Avram with Tommy's assistance.
